January 2017 Channel Update

0

What’s going on guys?!  I’m going to make this as brief as I can with as much information as I have to share!  Try and cope with me here.

First, thank you all so much for your continued support!  Our channel has seen consistent growth in both viewership and subscribers since launch – and for that, i’m incredibly grateful!  You all have continued to engage me both on Twitter and on YouTube, and have helped shape the channel into what it is now!  I’m also excited to announce that all videos are being uploaded in 1080p at 60fps!

When it comes to uploading content, I’ve been spreading it as far and wide as possible, to try and reach as many viewers as possible, and to drum up any engagement that I can.  For those of you who aren’t aware of what sites I’m referring to, they’re Vid.Me – a sort of Reddit/YouTube hybrid, and Twitch.TV’s Video Service.  I have LimaCharlie on Vid.Me and my LCG Twitch Profile has not changed.  I want to note that all 3 websites receive the same videos.  Nobody is getting preferential treatment here!

I have been putting feelers out on my Twitter to see what people think about adjusting my upload schedule a little bit.  As of the 12th of January, I’m going to be posting videos to YouTube as follows:

This allows me a little more flexibility in recording, and if I’m unable to upload an episode for that day, it will be posted on my Twitter for that day.  Unfortunately, working full time and having a young child can make content production at times very difficult – which is the primary reason that I haven’t been able to do nearly as much streaming as I would have liked.

Anyway, I’m going to wrap this post up here for now.  Everybody, stay happy, stay healthy, and Godspeed!  This is LCG, and i’m heading out!

RimWorld A13 Review – A Tale of Tragedy And… Well, Just Tragedy

As is usual style for me, the simulation game has come through again.  RimWorld advertises itself as a colony simulator, and lives up to that very well.  While i’m not convinced that the concept is necessarily unique, the execution most certainly is and considering this is a game that’s in Alpha, it far exceeded any expectations I ever had.  Despite a fairly steep learning curve, the amount of immersion and constant replay value is unreal.

Tropico 5 Review – Coexisting With Penultimo!

Having never played any of the other games in the Tropico series, and reading the most recent outcry over how terrible this particular iteration was, I was a little concerned that this might be the wrong time to be getting the ol’ feet wet.  That being said, as a huge simulation game fan, this game kind of hit the sweet spot!  Long time fans might think otherwise, though.
